Serp - the day I root for a Chicago sports team is the day I self administer some .50 caliber aspirin. I'd drag my dick across two miles of broken glass to hear Bill Belichick fart through a walkie talkie.

Yeah. It's silly to give up, or even know one way or another. Remember when a certain 199th (6th round) pick from Michigan came in after Bledsoe got hurt badly?

I have nothing bad to say about Serpico today-- Good work singlehandedly holding the NerdsonSports fort!

All this talk of the pats possibly doing well this year are absurd. I'm calling a 5-11 record, with a grand total of one AFC east win (Miami). The defense is old and slow, the o line are turnstiles, and Cassel is a mediocre qb at best.

I've already heard a bandwagoner jump off. This morning on the bus I overheard some schlub female say she's going to get rid of the tickets to the Pats/Steelers game because Brady was the only reason to go to a Pats game. I almost said I'd take the tickets cause she's being an idiot.

But I agree with your assessment, the rest of the team is fine. They lost Brady and they have a back-up that's been in the system 4 years. How can you judge a player who's only played in preason games and 4th quarter garbage time? You can't.
