But mainly for footnote purposes. Look at the '72 Dolphins. They went undefeated in the regular season AND won the title. They barely get treated as a "special" team. If any major league baseball team had an undefeated season I'm sure we'd talk about them, regardless of how they fared in the playoffs. (Hell, as Henley later points out, a team that went undefeated in the season and lost in the postseason would fuel pundits' pens for <i>years</i>. Think of the object lessons! They're salivating at the prospect) Football’s a different sport, though.
