I'm just surprised that Marvel Entertainment isn't listed as a company affiliated with the making of the movie on imdb:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418279/companycredits

Is this an IMDB oversight or do you have a further explanation?

Marvel owns the storyline for Transformers (the comic books and cartoons); Hasbro owns the toys. Trust me on this one.

I am excited about Iron Man.

Since when is Transformers a "Marvel property"?
Hasbro, yes. Marvel, no. Let's get your categorization of suckery correct.

By the way, Transformers is going to be awesome and FF2 will most likely be really, really bad (rumors of Galactus being portrayed as a "storm cloud" are extremely worrisome).

Also, let's not throw Marvel under the bus just yet. Spider-Man 3, while not equal to 1 and 2 was passable and Ghost Rider did well at the box-office (I'm going to catch it on video, so I'm holding judgment until then but Peter Fonda as Satan sounded pretty cool) and have you seen the early shots from Iron Man for next year? Woah.
